Even if you have penalty points on your licence, you can still prepare for the Test.  The only limitations are that you may not have more than eleven point during preparation and no more than eight at the time you take your test.  Many drivers finally realize they need to improve their driving skills as a result of receiving penalty points.

To succeed in the Advanced Driving Test does not require super-human effort, just a sensible and responsible approach to your driving and a willingness to learn.  Most drivers can achieve Advanced Test standard in a few weeks and that starts them on a road of continual self analysis and improvement which leads to a safer, more Skilled driver - for Life.

How about giving someone a Skill for Life Gift Pack.

Skill for Life
You prepare for the Advanced Driving Test in your own car, with a Group volunteer sitting in your passenger seat as an Observer, who will offer advice and guidance in order to improve your driving skills to Test standard.  The guidance is undertaken at your local Group or Group of your choice and is a relaxed and informal process.  Runs are arranged between yourself and your Observer for mutual convenience and can be as reasonably flexible as you like.

To reach test standard would typically take between six and ten observed runs but may vary depending on natural ability, frequency and practise obtained between runs.

The Advanced Driving Test is taken locally and again arranged with the Examiner at a mutually convenient time and will take about 90 minutes.
